Some services are not covered by the NHS and we will therefore charge a fee for completion of this work. The NHS medical care of our patients takes priority during our working day so any private letters or forms can take up to 4 weeks to complete and return to you. We cannot guarantee they will be completed earlier.


Such work attracts a fee based on a rate of £232 per hour; 

charged per 15mins. Minimum charge 15 minutes. 


Please note that patients are paying for an opinion, 

formed from the patient's available contemporaneous notes.

Before you can start using this service you must contact Reception in person and provide suitable identification (your passport or driving licence is acceptable) to obtain your username and password.

In addition to the desktop version, the ability to access SystmOnline via a mobile device has recently been introduced - get the app from from either of the below app stores.

  • Be nice to our staff. They do their very best for you.
  • Let us know when you think we have done well.
  • Read the notices in surgery.
  • Make sure you know the opening times of the surgery.
  • Find out how to arrange home visits, repeat prescriptions and urgent appointments.
  • You may not always need to see a Doctor, ask what services the nurse can provide.
  • Keep your appointment or cancel it .
  • Only use out of hours services in an emergency
  • Take a friend or relative with you if necessary.
  • Tell the receptionist if you need more time to speak to the Doctor. He/she will be able to arrange this.
  • We also offer a ‘ CALL BACK’ service. If you think you need telephone advice only from the Doctor or Nurse we can arrange this for you. 
  • Think twice before making an appointment. Do you really need to see the doctor? Which Health Professional do you need to see?
  • Antenatal Visit (3rd trimester of pregnancy)
  • First Visit (10 - 21 days post birth)
  • Follow up Visit (after birth visit)
  • Weaning Visit (3 - 4 months)
  • 7 Month Contact (6 - 7 months)
  • 2 Year Contact

Baby clinic for weaning & advice runs from Pinmoor Children's Centre, Eastmoor Road 13:00—15:00.

The Health Visitor is available to contact & arrange visits on an individual basis.
